a friend of mine gave me a 100% het albino 50% het stripe male and a 66% het female for some work i did for him and he could not pay me for. so i have 2 questions.
#1 what are the possibillitys in the offspring?
#2 he is not 100% sure if the snakes are siblings, does this matter?

Well, If you mean 66%het for albino then you have a 66% chance of having 25% normals 25% albinos 50% het for albinos. In addition you have a 50% chance that 50% of them will be het for striped. You wouldn't get any striped offspring and would not be able to tell which ones have the gene. If the 66% is not het then you would have all normal looking boas with 50% being het for albino. I hope this helps! You can go to www.pkreptiles.com and go to the genetics section. There you will find a pugnett square where you can see the way it works.

It is best to keep your pairs as unrelated as possible. I personaly have found the more closly related/inbred they are the easyer they get sick and have other problems. If you are unsure or think they are siblings, try trading one to someone to keep your genetics clean.
