The best way to do it is to just let the boas dictate when it's time. I've got a pair that started in June, there was heavy courting for a week I didn't see any copulation, but the female was streched out rolled over on her side a week ago. and the male has lost all interest, so maybe she ovulated. If they go off feed and aren't ill give them a shot. good luck

Here is my theory and judging by the boa video, Jeff is not going to concur with it because of the cooling factor. Although boas can breed in about any month, a cooling period for a month before the planned breeding time will trigger a response in both animals to breed. If you slightly raise the temperatures up to normal and the put the boas together, it is in my opinion that it does not matter which month you put them together, as long as you mimic this technique. However, some people don't cool their boas and they breed year round, so my method is only one of many, but it works well with me and helps me produce or try to produce boas year round. Good luck.
