I was curious if anyone has ever or regularly used one male to breed two females in a single breeding season and if so is it usually successfull?

It can be done, but you'd be better off with at least one male per female.

I bred both my adult females this year using the same male (he is a CRAZY good breeder ,I'm convinced he's still interested although they have both been gravid for over two months, he never sits still in his cage, always "smelling" for the girls, LOL).
You can bet that I'll let everyone know how these litters turn out, as this is my first year breeding and I'm thoroughly excited about it!!!!!!!!! ;D
But to answer your question, I agree with Ed. You'd be better off to go with pairs, if you can. Good luck!

I appreciate you guys input. I have a pair of albinos het striped from PK and a DH sunglow female from Renaissance Reptiles. You can see my dilema. What to do first. Striped albinos, ND ALBINOS 66% het striped OR... sunglows 50% het striped, albinos 50% het striped, DH sunglows 50% het striped, and 100%het albinos 50% het striped. I really want to do both if possible but I really can't afford another albino after all the other recent purchases I have made. I have a fully striped male and too awsome pastel females that I would like to try to breed also. I guess I will just have to try to set priorities and then give the guys a try. If they don't breed the second females I'll just have to wait to try the others the next season or trick them into thinking it's breeding season a few months later. Life is so tough what with all these choices. :-/ Somehow I'll survive! ;D :'(
I thought putting a pair of albino's together was a bad idea? Maybe i was misinformed but that is what i have been hearing everywhere.

Sure a male to a female would be most desireable, but i've usually used 1 male for 2 females. Last year that worked out great.
I have heard of most normal males handling about 2 females, and the real 'promiscuous' males being able to handle 3 and 4 sometimes!
Usually if I have a problem with a male in tht area, he doesn't do it for any females.. so my experience is either 0, 2 or hopefully 3!

I'm not sure on this subject, but I might try it this year so I will be sure to post pics of multiple breedings by the same male if it works out.
