What are the age and size requirements for female to begin the breeding cycle? What is the youngest age a female might get it on?

A female must have good body mass to breed. I'd say she should be as thick as a half-gallon jug of milk. Also, she should be at least 2 yrs old and 5.5-6ft long. If she is larger in anyway, good for you, but if she is younger or smaller in anyway, I would hold off. Females can ovulate at as small a size as 4ft, but you don't want to breed her that young. It is very stressful on such a young animal to breed so young.

I have heard of a 5' suriname female produce (a very small litter) successfully but I won't even try until the female is 2+ yo and 6'+ in length and as girthy as a "big slam" 1 liter soda bottle. (the female I will try this year is larger around then a 2 liter bottle 8'+ and around 25-30 pounds.) I would rather "lose" a potential season then risk the health of the female.

I wait 3 years to breed. Young boas usually have small litters and it may shorten her life by breeding her too soon.
