View Full Version : no luck breeding my guyanans yet

i have a pair of guyanans about 5 years old mail is 4 feet female is 6 feet
i tryed breeding them last year and the year before that with no luck yet
i cooled them down for 3 months never did see the mail showing any intrest in the female . when i interduced them back together never noticed the pos in the female at all that year . are they to young still? any thoughts from you guys would be cool thanks deb

next time when you try and breed them, let the male try and breed her instead of the mail.lol.jk..

Debbie, get a copy of " The Boa Constrictor Manual " by Philippe De Vosjoli. Jeff Ronne does an entire chapter on breeding BCI but it will work with BCC also, he told me so himself : Follow it and I bet your luck changes.

I'd have both animals probed again. You may just have two of the same unwilling disappointed guyannans on your hands.
By the way- had a male guyannan- one of the easiest true reds to handle.
Stay away from Peruvians.

How cool did they get? At what point during cooling were they introduced?
