Hey all

I have a friend that wants to breed boas, he cant breed redtails becouse his cage is to small, Its 2ftH 5ftL 2ftD

What do you think would be a good size boas to breed in this cage?

Why can't he breed boas in that cage? It sounds pleanty big to me.

Not sure, i told him it was a good size, He thinks it should be bigger, Cough MAKE A BIGGER ONE Cough

that cage should be sufficient for a pair of average sized adults to breed in, its not like they need to fully stretch out to copulate..

Most of my boas, and someone else who breeds TONS of boas, lol, are bred in cages smaller than that. 4ft long.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with breeding in that cage.

As a matter of fact, some have found that using larger cages, such as 6ft long's, have not produced as good results as the smaller ones.

Based on experience.

if he doesnt want to breed rtbs, then tell him to breed rosies or dumerils, although i would talk some sense into him and suggest rtbs
