another POS question

Okay I saw my male pulling one of his hemipens(sp?) back in about 3 weeks ago. I'm guessing that he had just finished doing his thing. about a week after that she went into shed. I didn't see any ovulation at this point and the males was still breeding her. then last week I saw what I belived to be a ovulation while she was still in shed. since then the male has had no intrest. She shed last night. So my questions are:

If that was an ovulation would I use the shed date as my POS? or do you think that i'm just going to have to go with the no shed situation and just wait for babies?

Also after the ovulation do they go back to semi-normal size she is all wrapped up so it is tought to tell, but she doesn't look any bigger anymore.

My advise is to just write down anything of importance when it comes to breeding. Use all of your info to gestimate your due dates. I'd also keep trying your male with the female. Possibly try a different male if youv'e got one, just to see if he's interested, it's a good test to see if the other male is just burnt out for the season. Be sure to supervise when using a backup male or you may end up with babys you didn't intend on producing.
