Hey,
I need some expierenced breeders help. If youve been breeding for awhile and know your stuff please email me
NightHawk@xtremeexotics.com
By the way im looking for a breeding pair of boas
the point of a forum is to keep information in one spot, no one is going to email you unless you are contacting a specific person about something-- even then you should just look up the name/address. If you have a question in particular, just ask, that's why we're all here.

I know that's its hard to find a breeding pair but if you're looking for a pair of breeding boas I might know someone (a very reputable breeder)who has some, but a breeding or ready to breed pair will be more expensive as most breeders don't want to part with them. What kind are you looking for and how much do you want to spend? And what do you need help with, if you don't want to post it(by the sounds of it)then send me a private message and maybe I can help!

Good luck to you, an adult female columbian for $200 probably isn't going to be the best looking thing, and will more than likely be the most evil boa you could imagine. There may be a few out there that are decent, but at this time of year adults are slim pickins.

I would have to agree with Panama, you would expect to pay $200 for a nice looking baby redtail; or at least I would. Good luck though! :'(

i dont know why everyone thinks you have to pay big bucks for a redtail. i saw a 100%het 7ft for 150, most i saw where under 200 so i said ill pay that much.
But the ones i saw on KS where sold within the first day.

Two old phrases come to mind.....
"If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is."
and
"You get what you pay for."
There are exceptions, though. Good luck..........

If you're asking about breeding and can spend that on a boa than you can afford Jeff's video, it probably has the info you want to know on it.

Some people grow their boas very fast and that 7ft bargain may have a very short life, undisclosed problems, etc. Linda makes a couple great points.:'(

Keep your head up it is possible. When I bought my male from a very reputable shop they had a georgeous female ready to go. She was healthy and ovulating, she was about 7ft and only 150. I hope you get so lucky.

Keep your eyes open. I only buy boas for at least a couple hundred dollars below the lowest price I've ever seen them advertised. Remember, cash speaks louder then trades even if it is much less then someones asking price.
The albino I bought from Sojourn is probably one of the most beautiful and sweetest albinos that I've owned, and although I won't disclose my purchase price, he was at least $500-700 below market for a snake like that. He didn't breed for me this year, but I'm getting him ready to go for next.
