Anyone familiar with this guy?

I saw this little one in the pet store, and I couldn't resist. It has very dark coloring and a lot of red. It is actually pink underneath. The pictures don't really show how much red there is on this snake. Can anyone tell me is this a normal red tail?

Looks like a CA Nicaraguan. Pretty Boa. I have a little female that is very similar. Love her underside, tail and sides.

I'd agree... CA. Those are kinda cool cause you can keep'em to about 5' or so; very manageable. I used to breed a line of them that had a very cool RUST-colored wash over them. Miss those little guys...
