My gravid female struck at me

My gravid female who has never struck at anyone just tried to take a chunk out of my hand.  I definaltely wasn't expecting it but I moved my hand just in time and she missed me and got the carpet. Is it normal for gravid females to become aggresive.

so I guess it's a good sign that she took and is indeed gravid.

I don't know if I would take that as a sign or not but I wouldn't be taking her out and putting her on the carpet if I thought she was gravid. Just my 2 cents! :'(

I didn't take her out. I use carpet as substrate. I havn't tried to hold her since before I put the male in with her I was changing her water and just went to give her a rub.

LMAO Amber, my female is still very aggressive after giving birth, and stuck at me one time when she was Gravid, well she didn't strike but open her mouth the size of California LOL and hissed, Scare the F%$#%&$ Sit out of me and I'm 6'4"
