OMG, I was jumping for joy bigtime

This is my first time breeding snakes, and WOW!!! what a experience.

I went from is she gravid, to I don't know lol. Since I didn't see the first male do his thing, I was unsure do to inexperience.

I'm glad we have great sites like this to share our experinces with each other.

I want to thank everyone for there support through this, you all really helped me succeed.

That is saweeeet!!! Congrats I hope I have that much luck with my first attempt at breeding. I am pretty positive that BigMama is gravid. Fingers crossed.

CONGRATULATIONS TONY :'( It's always exciting to walk into the room and look into the cage and be amazed; especially when it's the first time. I have two gravid females and just waiting and waiting for them to drop. Last season one had 23 and the other had 27. I will post my proud pictures when it happens. When it happens you just want to keep them all but soon find out it's a lot of mouths to feed. I normally hold back a few of the best looking ones and wait to see how they turn out and possibly use them for future breeders. Once again - Congrats - "you are now officially a daddy."

looks like she had a lot more then just 4 slugs, but MAN! That is a nice size litter regardless. Congradulations! Yeah, that is going to be a hell of a mess to clean up. Man, when she gives birth she goes all out! AWESOME!

hehehehe Yeah this is great, right now I have 20 of them out and she is guarding the rest. Wonder how I am going to get the other out lol.

Jon, she had 2 slugs and 4 still births, I guess it my fault I didn't know what I was doing. Didn't know what a  POS was but  now I know :). Yeah 4 were completely developed I guess feeding her maybe did something :(. I feed 2 medium rat the day before she gave birth :(, eeeh.

As of right now there are 40 heads I counted :)

47 babies? wow! How old is the mom and how big was she before gravid? Congrats on all the gooey babies man! :'( :'( :'(

She is 4 years old and 9.5 - 10 feet but have not measured in awhile. She was weight in about 50 pounds before birth.

This is a big girl and this was her first litter of pups!!!!

Tony ,Buddy ole Pal I didnt miss this post at all lol... I thought I posted guess not....BUT HEY Congrats buddy nice job awesome clutch indeed.......Im very happy this turned out :'( ... And keep me posted via e mail as they progress.............You know Im a straight up BOA LOVER : -) ...Been so busy with baby boas.....Gravid females awww....And general and up keep...Treating chondros ect.....2 snake rooms now ....It never ends but hey I love it......I should be posting Argentine Boa babies I think I can here...Also Emerald Tree babies in Other section here....As for baby chondros all didnt make it...But hey there is always next season....Oh and it looks like maybe another clutch of red groups..... I shouldnt of put that other male with the females he might of got my 2001 female she is 6 feet just wanted to wait a year he didnt oh well.......
