1.0 was breeding,0.1 shed,1.0 showing no interest

How long do you remove your males during breeding? I've removed males before for a few days and end up with slugs! Should I just leave him in there? Thoughts please ?

A very wise man who calls himself the Boaphile once told me that when the female has her post ovulation shed, it's time to remove the male. Especially if he has stopped showing any interest! :'(
