My 8 ft BCI just had 27 babies, 18 of which survived and are healthy. I am now getting ready to sell some of them to the reptile store I got my daddy BCI from but I'm not sure how much money I should ask for them. I Know they go for around $100-150 from most pet stores as babies but I know im not going to get near that much for each of them. The guy who owns the reptile store said all his BCI babies didnt make it so he is looking to buy some of mine after they eat a couple times. He said when thier ready to tell him a price but I dont know how much, Im thinking like $20-50 each but I dont know. Any suggestions would be much appreciated

I would try for $50. I wouldn't go less than $40. Just my thoughts. Never tried selling a litter to a pet store, so I can't be sure if I am on track.

You could sell them for more if you just sold them yourself. I can buy CB baby colombians for $40-35 each depending on quantity, at wholesale.

You will be lucky to get over 40 each for them. Most petshops look at the profit line on the snakes and don't pay attention to much else. In my opinion I would sell him no more then 5 of them at 50 each and try to sell the rest yourself online or locally. You could also see if he would "broker" them for you selling them in the petshop for you at an agreed upon price and he would get a certain percentage. For example sell them for 120 each at the petshop and the pet store would get say...50 each for them.. He may be willing to do that, but not guaranteed.

I've found that a small pet store will pay more whole sale than a large bulk store. I'm in Nor Cal and have sold normal babies to a small store in Elk Grove for $50.00 each, he took 10 babies. Then the same babies will only fetch $20.00 each at a store as large as East Bay Vivarium. Go for the smaller stores! Or try online like Randy said! Hope you make a couple $$!
