I don't see why he wouldn't be ready. He should breed with out a problem at the end of the year.

Some people says that he could'nt breed because he's two years old. But he's 5ft10 inches in lenght! That's why I was asking!

lenght isn't really important for males. They just need to be over 18 months of age.

Im going to expand on this question, whats the opinion on age of the female before breeding?

As Kasper said, males can typically breed somewhere around 18 months of age, although some may need longer to develop their "drive."

Females are extremely variable. They need to be large enough to SAFELY develop, carry and deliver the neonates. Just about everybody will give you a different number and size here. We all know that you CAN push females to breeding size quickly, but it is VERY detrimental to the long-term health of the animal. I personally won't breed any females that aren't at least 3 years old. They also need to be 6 feet long and have a good weight to them.

Anybody else care to add their "guidelines?"

Thank you guys! So my two boas are ready! I hope that's gonna work. Can my male and my female fight together because they don't like each other? I hope not 'cause it's expensive those snakes! ;D

And I want to know what to give to my female for lunch! Because I'm not over feeding her but I think that one rat per week is nor enough for her. She's 6.6 ft and she weight 18 pounds. Can you help me?

Thank you. 8)

Striker boas don't fight so you wont have to watch out for that.

As for feeding. I have a few females that are about the same size as yours, and I feed them 1 big jumbo(the're around 1 pound rats) every two weeks.

That is a good feeding regimine kasper. That said in the month or so prior to breeding (towards the end of your cycle) i would double that.

Great looking male btw..

I have a pair the exact same size of your boas and just a few months older and we just had 30 healthy babies not one slug!! So next time around go for it! I agree with the other gentlemen on the proper feeding schedule. Dont stuff them!! Your doing a good job.
