When do you guys start to introduce your males to your females. Ive been reading many books and even was able to watch Jeffs video.. but am still wondering the 1st month where things actually get going?

This is just what I do:
I usually stop feeding in September (males) and October (females). Also, I usually introduce in November or December.
I have introduced the male in other months if I catch the female ovulating.
The male should be riding her around right away after you introduce him.
Good Luck!

Do you keep the male off food completly?? September to December?? Or in your projects is it off food for a month and if you do give them anything, its a MUCH SMALLER item than normal?

I do things a little earlier than most... it gives me time to screw up and recover. 8)
I just keep an eye on football season... After the first Tennessee Titans game of the season, I put my pairs together. :'(

Yes, I dont feed the male for a month or two. IF he takes a break from the female I put the male in his own cage and feed him a small rat about 1/2 of what you normally fed him. This usually re-energizes the male. Then 1-3 days later I put him back with the female and get ready for round 2!
