Sure, it depends on how cool the "cool" side is but females that do not maintain late afternoon body temps in the high 80's between 30 days POS and 90 days POS always give me lots of sweet potatoes.

Nick,
All of my gravid girls are camped out right on the heat. Which girl is it?

Jeff,
I am not saying you can do this but why not raise the heat a little if you know that is what happens? :'(

I think Jeff is saying, If they don't choose to stay warm you are probably in for a load of slugs. Forcing them to stay warm wouldn't make things any better. Most slugs were never fertile or died shortly after fertilzation. I hope that isn't the case here...

Well, I expected babies June 26 2004 and NOTHING. I keep walking in to the room expecting to see slugs. A few days ago she looked to be going into a shed. Today I walk in and she is in deep shed and stretched out and laying almost totally upside down.
I took a picture, but when I turned on the light...She started to roll back over. Post it later, if it came out.

It must be frustrating!!! I still have a 2 month wait to see for defenit if my girls are gravid or not (well by then they should be close to giving birth).
Good luck and keep us updated!!!
