Anyone ever had thid breeding problem?

My 0.1 was breed in April '04'. She became HUGE. I did not witness ovulation. She gets bigger & bigger,lays on her side and if not on her side she's in heat reserve position.
Problem.... her last shed was 160 days ago & she last breed 10 months ago ..... no babys ! I papated her & she felt empty.
I introduced a male last wk to see how she'd respond. SHE WENT OFF! She litterlly beat my male up by tail smacking him. I mean she let him have it! She even chased him into a corner.
Have you ever had this problem? Thoughts ? Opinions?

I have had a similar problem.. My big female last year when she slugged out actually passed the slugs at the 160 day range (obviously I misread her) and this season when I introduced a male to see if she would be receptive she beat the crap out of him with her tail, and over all gave him a bad time..

P.S. Ya breeding any boas this year ? The pic is a male salmon 50% het for albino breeding my solid red Salmon. After a week with her he hooks up with my F 3 Salmon & then goes back & forth. The F 3 it UT orange & looks like she's been covered in a coat of gloss. I'll post a pic in the boa pics of her. I'd like your thoughts.

This year I am not going to give anyone a go.. I will just bulk up what I have and try early next season..
