On saturday my gravid female passed her waxy stool and a few turds. I guess she started contracting and gave birth to 6 still born babies.
Problem is she has her insides sticking out.
My question is what should I do?
Has anyone had this problem?
I was told to keep it moist, which I have but doesn't seem to be going back into her body. She still has something like 40 -50 babies that she is carrying around.
Will this go back inside her once the babies are born?
Also someone told me to try and put it back in inside her, tried no go, and seemed like I was harming instead of helping her?
Please help!!!
Thank You

That is super bad!!! Get her to a vet now! You may have lost the whole litter. Hope it works out for you, and she pulls through.

Here is an update,
Last night I called and emailed to about 4 different people. They helped me making a decision to put the prolapsed back inside her, and man that was no easy task. First attempt was not successful and I called emergency vet, since all the vets were gone home after I get home from work. They said they would put the prolapsed back inside her, and told them I tried and I didn't want to cause more harm since she was bleeding. She told me to do it gently as possible, lube it with KY jelly. I attempted again and was determined to get it back in her for her life depended upon it.
I was successful the second go round, had to apply some duct tape temporarily until I could get her to the vet. I thought to myself, if she tries to have these babies and there is duct tape around the area it could cause more problems so I put a little piece not covering the opening and it could be broken if pushed a little.
I was all set to go to Tom Greek in Yorba Linda, the only Reptile vet in our area that is recommended and he had the day off They called me this morning and said he has had the past 2 days off and will be in tomorrow (Wednesday). First thing tomorrow at 8 am I will be there and the vet can make the assessment.
Good news is the prolapsed is back inside her staying moist and warm.
Will give you all more info as soon as it hits.
Thanks for your ongoing support.
I really need it I'm really hurting

Today I bought her to the vet and he said since I put back the Prolapsed at this point that not much he could do. He said it may or may not prolapse again when she gives birth. He feels that it is her uterus that was sticking out and maybe be ok when she uses the restroom.
If this becomes a chronic problem he can attach it inside so it don't come out again.
There is also a choice of a C-section but he said she looks healthy and monitor her for a couple weeks, then make a decision.
That's where were at, at this point.

But if she already started having babies, wouldn't it be fatal to the remainder of the clutch inside her to wait that long?? I would give her a week at the most to see if she will start giving birth again and then take her for a C-section.

If this is her uterus that prolapsed (which is my guess on the situation) then I do not see how she could have prolapsed the uterus and not have been finished delivering the entire litter. (with the uterus hanging out and the uterus being what holds babies during development any remaining babies should have been pushed out or atleast obvious to observation if somehow the uterus pushed out without being inverted) If this isn't the case I am extremely interested in learning what happened.
Good luck with her I hope she pulls through completely without any future issues.

Cloaca - Chamber into which the digestive, urinary, and reproductive CANALS open; it then opens to the exterior through the anal vent at the base of the tail.
I believe she prolapsed pretty much everything, which is unforunate.

That is truly incredible! Congrats! I hope she turns out ok. She sure did do an awesome job holding on to those babies full term even through so much diversity.
I wish you the best!..... :'(

I am in shock! I have never heard of an animal doing that before. That is an amazing thing. I would have been $1000 that she would not have survived that prolapse let alone give birth to a good litter of babies. Super congratulations to you and the proud Momma!
Wow! :P

All the babies are well and the mother came through like a champ :)
All the babies have shed and have eaten. I'll post some pics soon.
The mother has eaten twice, and yet to pass a stool.
She did pass urine and is doing well :'(
