~Greetings Boaphiles~

I was at the chat with Jeff on Sunday and saw him refer to the Pastel trait as being "Polygenic."
I did a search on Google, but didn't find an understandable explanation. Would someone please put it to me in laymans terms?
Thanks.

More than one gene combined to create the desired trait, refined through generations of selective breeding. It works in breeding very much like a generic dominant trait(not co-dominant). When you breed a pastel to a normal, you will get approximately half a litter of pastels, and when you breed a pastel to a pastel, you will get almost an entire litter of pastels.
