so why is anery/ghost ruled out? Contrast? That boa does look awsome I love blacks, grey, silver, and white on boas, and other reptiles for that matter like maybe australian water dragons. I would love to know what she really is, when will you tell?

I think she is pastel, but its so very hard to tell for sure. What ever she is, she is incredable looking.

Correct me if I am wrong but, that is a nice Anery. Pastel Anery? Lost me there. I want it. I'll take it :)

I just love Anerys, Thats my first love. Here is one from last year. It's not the red in the tail for me but rather the lack of red.... get my pun?

How about.............. Unique! I don't know on that one Jesse.... Those all turned out so unusual I think breeding her will be the only way to tell.

Thanks everybody! ;D

She is definitely not an anery, or a ghost, more like hypoerythristic and pastel or hypo. Her color is a very, very pale pink and lavendar, so even though it is super faded and washed out, there is still a little red there.

And I have no official stance on what she is. I agree with Ed, she will have to be bred to know for sure. But I always appreciate others' opinions and thoughts.

I was searching through some old posts. Came across this one, and thought I would share how this little girl is turning out....

She has more of a golden wash to her dorsal coloring, but her base color is still powder pink and lavendar, and her tail color does not differ from it at all. She has also developed more black now. I feel confident that she is neither a pastel nor hypo, but is still unique, and developing quite nicely.

She is wat cool.Maybe a Paradox pastel anery.Who knows but she is pretty.

She is definately beautiful!
Maybe you could do some selective breeding for lavendar.
That would be spectacular! A boa/Pastel with a strong lavendar color!!

Looks great... yeah I would almost say ghost (i.e., reduced speckling, very reduced red pigment) but I do almost see a faint pink tone coming from somewhere underneath. Beautiful in all rights...
