hey! sorry I don't know that much about breeding boas, but i do know a lot about genetics. To help you out, if you have a snake that is het for something, which is heterozygous, it means that they carry a gene that is physically present and a gene that is not physically present. For example, an if a snake is Het for albino, that means they have Aa (dominant gene "A" and recessive gene "a"). If you breed this snake with another snake that is Het for albino, then you will get albino offspring. Using a 'punnet square', you can figure out the outcome of the offspring (google it and you'll understand), for example: you cross Aa with Aa and get offspring that are 25% AA (which is no albino gene), 25% aa (which is pure albino) and 50% Aa (which is het for albino). These are all possibilities of offspring. So as you see if you cross two hets, you will get hets as offspring. It is confusing, but once you understand what genes are dominant and recessive, and if you can draw a punnet square, then its really easy! I really hope that helped you understand the genetics better!
