Does anyone know why gravid female will move to cooler end of cage during last month or so of gestation.I dont get how people say they can tell if a female is graid by her temp.
because if a boa is gravid she will normaly be on the heat which for most poeple is usally from 85 to 104 degrees.so the boa will definetly show a higher body temp if she is on it .also i have been checking body temps on all my boas and have noticed that.all boas male or female big or small will show higher body temp while digesting a meal .So this being the case. how can tell if a boa is gravid by body temp.dont mean to sound sceptical i just dont understand.
