shed?

To those that have had experience with this, how many have had a gravid female shed in the middle of gestation or prior to birth?

Reason: I have a female that didn't POS but is loaded with babies right now and from my caluculations about a month or so away from birth. Anyhow she went blue this weekend and will shed in the next few days.

Have never had a female do this, but I'm chalking it up to the boa breeding variability and her normal shed cycle kicking in and the fact that they never seem to follow 'the rules' for me.

But any other insite would be sweet. Thanks everyone and may the boa gods be with us.

i havent had the pleasure of that boa trick yet but i have heard of it happening before, the boaphile has tracked it and it isnt that common but again it happens, give us a good overhead shot of her so we can see that big momma. what day was her ovulation? thanx and good luck.

Mine has always had an intermediate shed 50-60days after her POS. Could be temp related or just the way she is.

yeah sounds about right, she's at about 60 days right now. I'll get you guys a shot in the next few days. Knew that it was irregular but not out of the questions. Hey Justin, I have a female that had her post ov. shed and another shed in the middle of her gestation. It messed with my mind! But she had them 107 days after the first shed! Pretty strange! Anyway, drop by and I'll show her to you...... after all, I live in the same town you do! Dr. Klopson.

As for the female, that what I figured, I had a feeling she is just messing with my mind, creating even more boa stress and the wait alone is enough to drive one crazy. All the best, can't wait to meet up.
