Congratulations - 23 live and 3 slugs is a good sized fertile litter!
Back on January 16 Louie posted a forum question:
"Has anyone ever had a gravid boa that did not gain alot of weight or look extremely swelled up? "
Did that question refer to the same boa that dropped the 23 live on March 30 ?
What is the length of the female? Can you share any photos of her while gravid ?

Congrats!! That striped one is stunning!! Hows bout some new pics???
I need help!!!!!! :-/
My boa just had 25 healthy babies and no slugs! NOW WHAT? I'm not a breeder so I don't really know what to do with the babies. I knew that she was gravid because I bred her with my male and she showed all the signs. I thought for sure something would go wrong, like all the babies would be dead or deformed. I knew to keep them in a moist environment for 24hours. It's been about 14. They are in a large plastic container with breathing holes and moist paper towels. When can I take out all the mucous? Will they drown in it? If you have any advise I'd really appreciate it! Thanks!

Hello Amie,I am guessing that you dont have a rack for the babies, keep them on warm moist paper towels with temps 82 to 85F.What do you have planned for them?I have alot of open space at my facility, maybe i could be of some help to you.E-mail me at....spangler_serpents@comcast.net P.S. Send some pics if possible.GOOD LUCK,Mike.
