yet another courtship question..

i am new to this, so please bear with me... my male columbian started courting my female as soon as they were introduced. i have seen the typical courtship signs that i have read about, him riding her, his head on top of hers, etcetera, but i am unsure as to whether or not they have copulated. is there a way to determine if they have, without having witnessed the exposed cloacae? (i hope i spelled that right) i've noticed his tail rubbing up against hers, as well as his tail curled up as if defacting/urniating, but could not see anything due to a bad angle. any and all help greatly appreciated.

You will basically have to just keep an eye on them and if the female took she should swell up like she swallowed a ball. (And even this is sometimes missed) Good luck :'(
