Breeding info

Hello everyone. I am looking for some info on breeding Boas. I am interested in books and any articles on the net that people are aware of. I would like to get into breeding these anmals, but I want to be informed before I make the attempt.

There is a lot if information available for you to learn about breeding boa constrictors. Jeff Ronne has a video available as well as an article that appeared in "Reptiles Magazine" a few years ago. Check out his website for this info.

Books, such as The Boa Cnstrictor Manual,
The Reproductive Husbandry of Pythons and Boas by Ross and Marzec is also a very good reference.

The best thing to do is to just read, read, and read some more. Maybe join your local herp society to meet and speak with other reptile enthusiasts. Think of it as a reptile information treasure hunt and have some fun with it.
