Well... There is pun intended with that title. I have a female boa who is do this week (she just had her waxy stool Weds night). Well.... It is rare but every now and then the boas squeeze out little bit of the brown poop during their pregnancy. Mine just happened to do it soon after her waxy stool. Here is my problem. I tried to remove the fecal matter so the newborns would have a nice place to be born (Oh man I wish I never tried). When I was pulling out the brown poop with hemostats (just in case so I wouldn't get bit), my female struck at the poop and now has a piece in her mouth and it appears to be stuck.

My question is should I try and go in and get it out myself? It just happened about 10 minutes ago. I am giving her some time at the moment to see if she can get it out herself. So far she has been super still more than anything. I think she's thinking the same thing as me, "Oh crap!!" Anyone ever have anything like this happen to their boa?? What did you do? She's on her final week of pregnancy too... I can litterally see little bumbs in her rear half as if its the little baby boa's heads sticking out. Quite trippy.

And don't worry... I already know I was an idiot for doing this. I've gone back step by step in my head and all I can think is..... I'm such jackass!!

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

PS: To late for the vets... They are closed!!

I bet her breathe stinks...

I would try to squirt it out with water if possible. Go buy a squirt gun. I know this sounds funny but I bet it would work. Water will losen it up and it should come out. I would not try to grab her and remove it unless you have someone to help you. Also, I never touch my gravid females.

Good luck with the babies.

I hope you learned your lesson - NEVER PULL OUT A TURD!
