Is there a difference between pastel dream and pastel? if so, what is it? What kind of trait is pastel? Scarlet hypos, if you breed a scarlet hypo to a normal do you get half scarlet hypos or just half hypos? pastel hypos? Sorry for all the questions and sorry if they've been answered elsewhere. Thanks for your time.

Pastel Dream is a specific line of Pastel. Pastels are a normal with the black cleaned away. Think of the average normal with its black speckling, with black in the side diamonds and triangles. Now if you clean the black off the side diamonds, triangles and over all wash of the animal then you will end up with a pastel.
If you breed a scarlet hypo (Pastel hypo) to a normal the litter will have a mix of pastels, normals, hypos and scarlet hypos. The Pastel trait is polygenic thus less predictable then a dominant trait like hypomelanism.
