Ok...new here and I have a question. I'm currently pet-sitting for a pregnant Boa while her owner is out of town. She is due any day. I have been given instructions to call a friend of his if the babies are born, but what should I do in the mean time while waiting for him to get there? I work during the day so Momma snake is currently alone. If she has the babies while I'm gone, will they be in danger?

no worries, everything should be fine with the mom and kids together before your friend can get over there, just dont try to take mom out of the cage unless you want to visit a plastic surgeon before the weekend!! good luck and get a camera ready!!!

Thanks for the reply. Heck, I'm hoping I don't have to deal with this experience at all and that the guy will get home before the "big day" I'm really more of a dog person :) but it's been interesting learning about these snakes.
