how to heat a new cage

I am building three 4x2x18 cages for breeding and will be using melamine. What would be the best material for the floor and what would be the best way to heat them. Could I use 1 Helix for all three or is there a better way?

If you are asking about what material to make the floor out of stick with the melamine product. It handles the heat and humidity very well.

If you are just asking about how to heat the flooring, I would use 11" flexwatt heat tape to heat it. It has been the best heat solution for all my melamine cages.

I see no problem with using one helix to control all three.
