Okay, first post here so hello everyone! Just wanted to let you know that Mr. Ronne has set me up with an extremely "sah-weeet" Boaphile Plastics enclosure. It was a semi-custom order and Jeff was really cool about the whole deal--thanks again Jeff, you are The Man! Erm, The Boaphile, I meant... LOL
It's black, 48" long x 29" deep x 24" tall with a shelf and a half-height expandable end piece so that I can add on in the future...pretty darn trick if I may say so myself. Of course, the craftsmanship is top-notch and I'm very, very pleased with how it came out.
I've purchased a Helix Controls DBS-1000 thermostat and will be heating the cage with a Helix radiant heat panel up top and a piece of 11" Flexwatt underneath. May be overkill for Southern California, but I figure the electrics will last longer if they run at lower wattage, and I certainly shouldn't have trouble keeping it warm enough ;) I'll be using indirect ambient light from the window for the visuals.
Jeff said he took a bunch of pictures of it so maybe they'll find their way onto his site someday...in the meantime, once I get it set up I'll be posting some pictures up to this forum.
Now I just need to get a snake.... ROTFLMAO !!!
