Hi,
I have a question, how would I fix a small hole/crack on my boaphile cage? It hit the side of a wall when it was being moved. cwm14.gif The hole is only about 1/2 inch and the crack maybe 3 inches across. Its really no biggie, the snake does not seem to mind. ;)
Thanks!!
Well I know with plexi glass you could drill a hole in the top and the bottom of the crack and that would stop it from spredding... but I don't realy know about the other... I bet you could just use some of that stuff that jeff uses to put together the cages with..

Take the material that originally was at the point where the crack is and put it back into the gap. Actually do this after you get yourself some heavy duty clear PVC cement. Using the PVC cement put the piece or pieces back into the gap as best you can and use the PVC cement to fill any gaps. If needed you can tape the plastic parts back in the outside of the cage to hold those parts while you glue on the inside. You can even make the cage fully water proof again including at this point using this method. The PVC will stink bad for a day or so and then you can put your snake back into the cage. Use the PVC in a well ventilated area. Good luck and let us know how it works out OK?
Thanks,
Jeff
