I e-mailed Jeff with this same exact question. I have noticed the same thing with Vision cages. In Jeff's reply he said that you would not have to worry about the cages sagging in (in the middle.) He said that his cages were engineered to handle the wieght of large boids such as Burms, Anancondas etc. I'm sure he can give you a better explaination though.

If you look further on his site... I do belive that he give's you a demenstration of the strenght of his cages.... He stands on them and jumps up and down... or somthing like that.... and unlike vision cages... jeff's are made to be stacked.

The cages will stack beautifully and will work very well even with large boids. What is did was stand on my cages at the corner where you have seen the corner connector cage. The corner cage held me. This is a little more weight... OK a lot more weight than will ever go on one point in these cages. I have no doubt that the cages will perform for you even with large Anacondas.

The door will not stick. The glass will not blow out. The door will not break. All problems I have heard of with other cages.

Good luck!

Jeff
