I was thinking of buying a BoaPhile cage(love them) but am concerned about lighting. What kind of lights do you use? How do you attach them? I hate to have to cut into a nice new cage. For Jeff Ronne, is there any way that you can add an option to the cages to make them easier to light from the outside? TIA. ???

Just my thoughts on the subject... With such a nice big clear front why would you want anything other than room lighting? My ultimate goal is to outfit my whole snake room in Boaphile cages and install track lighting pointed at a stack of cages on a timer. Wouldn't that be snazzy?
-Morti, Like that.
He will drill holes for you and I think that he will mount the light fixture in it for you as wellll.... He uses floresent light fixtures..

Natural lighting is all I use with any of my cages, including my boaplastics cages. I guess if you are referring to a "display" solution in your living room, you may need some sort of artificial light source, and Jeff would be better served to answer that question.
From a breeder standpoint, Jeff's cages are the ultimate solution. Also I am a big fan of the black breeder size, which I have proven to work.

I do not light my Boaphile Plastics cages. I only use the natural light that comes in through the windows. At night I use a Black and Decker Snake Light! I bought six of them when I found out they were discontinuing them... I will install a florescent light though. More info on this will follow on the cage site soon... hopefully.
Thanks,
Jeff
