I normaly don't make post like this but after seeing Jeffs post about his possible gravid "calico" hypo I started to wonder about my double het ghost (hypo het anerythristic) female. She is starting to get this, as Jeff called it, "inverse color thing" creeping in.

Now, she is in shed in these photos but I wanted to show her off. She is still a youngster so she has lots of growing to do.

I will try to get some more photos after she sheds. I just wanted to see what people thought.

She's great looking... you guys may have stumbled on something very rewarding. Let's hope we can isolate the gene on these beauties...

I have a few that have the albinoish color coming up from the belly too. I think it will be at least somthing that can be reproduced polygenicly.. At some point I can picture a hypo with 80-90% the albinoish color with maybe a stripe of hypo down the back.. ;D

Awesome hypo, the inverse belly color sneaking up is intense on that one.

I have a few with a similiar look, although not that extreme. They are a defenite potential pairing for this upcoming season as well. Hopefully I can reproduce it.

I don't know if we can say "callico", I have seen some like that before and never payd attention to it. I have a dbl het sunglow expressing that trait. It's even more visible when it's in shed !

My first female red tail has the same thing. But shes a normal that I got from reptile Haven 5 years ago. Chris sold her to me he said that she was on special because all of her brothers and sisters got sold so there was no way to show me what the rest of the litter looked like. I got her then for $145. I'll see if I can find any pictures of her then post them.

Well, she shed and the color is still there but not as noticable because she is not as dark. I will try to get a couple fresh photos of her a bit later and post them.

I got this little girl from Jeff him self ;D
