i can't wait for them to arrive! i ordered three of the 4'x2'x11.5" drastic plastic cages all with expandable ends and two pieces of heat tape on the opposite end. one piece (the farthest from the expandable end) will be in use from day one and the other will be for heating when the cage is expanded to 8'!
i'll be posting pics of the cages and their new inhabitants as soon as the cages arrive!
thanks again jeff! i couldn't ask for a better transaction or a more pleasant conversation!

Jonathan, you will not be disappointed. When my behemoth 4' x 2.5' x 2' cage arrived from Jeff, I was really impressed by the quality and functionality of it. The expandable end options are awesome, too!
I'd love to see pictures of your setup and your Boas in their new digs!

Smart move Jonathan. That screamer of yours deserves the best cage out there. Let me know when you breed her!

Hey Jonathan, those are some great looking cages. And I know that there are going to be some really nice boas in them. I can't wait to buy some of those cages myself. Good luck with all those great looking snakes and cages.
Have a good one, cwm11.gif

Hey Rock,
That's just a hide box. You can take a clay flower put and cut or break a little entrance in the side. Snakes seem to love them and they are heavy enough not to tip over. I believe Jonothan may have put the tray beneath to keep it from sliding around.

I've actually never had to worry about it sliding around, but that could be because I have always used the trays? I actually use the trays b/c the animals will frequently deposit waste in there and it can save me an entire cage cleanup. Another reason is that I also have moist sphagnum moss inside and I don't want the water to seep into the newspaper. I'm sure the flower pot hides would work just as well without the tray, but it was only about $1 and I like having them in there for the reasons stated.
Good question, thanks!

oh yeah, one more thing. I use a flathead screwdriver and a hammer and I just chip away at the hole already in the bottom of the flower pot (soon to be the top once inverted and in the cage). Just thought I would share that. ;D
