Rack heat / rheostat

Just curious, do most of you run these through a rheostat? I just bought one of the 10-sweater size and was wondering if the "low wattage" flexwatt that Jeff uses allows you to bypass using the rheostat...

You will still want to use either a thermostat or a rheostat. That way you can get exact temperatures for what you need. :-)
