Ok her is how my cage is set up.
I have a 20 gal. long glass tank (I know it isn't a boaphile but I am saveing my money). The top is half glass and half screen.
on the side where the screen is I have a UTH it is hooked up to a Alife thermostat. I keep it set at 92 F. Above that I hve a 60 watt light. My room temp during the day is between 80 and 85.
The ambeint temp in my cage on the hot side is between 85 and 92 depending on what time of day it is.The ambeint temp on the cool side is between 80 and 86. At night my room temp drops off to around 70. M y ambeint temps in the cages are as follows hot side 80 to 85 cool side 76 to 80. I keep a towl on thop of the tank with a hole cut to fit the light with verey little space between the light and the towel. Now here is my question about the humidity. During the day my humidity stays between 60% and 75% sometimes getting up to 80%. At night it will drop off to between 40%and 50%. With this much of a fluxation in the amount of humidity will it cause any problems for my little guy? Thank you for any help you might be able to give me.

I would have to say that is just fine.. I don't think anybody has humidity that stay's the same all the time... Mine for example is at around 70 right after misting and over the course of a couple day's it drop's to about 55 and then I mist again... it work's good... I think that may-be the lower humidity on a reg. basis will probley give the lil' guy less of a chance to get mouth rot or RI.. Now don't "" me on that one.... Just a thought... But you are fine...
Now if you would like to have a cage that keep's the perfect humidity then go to pro-products and get there misting system... but you don't need that...
