Just wondering what kind of thermostats everyone is using? I've got a few different kinds, I just had a Helix go bad on me yesterday, it did its job for 6 or 7 years, but i never did like that system.

Mostly Big Apple Herp's proportional model. IMO they're great. I also have others including Microclimate, Thermotronics, and Habistat. All are similar but the Big Apple ones are the easiest to connect -- just plug everything in; no splicing wires.

Helix DBS-1000 for cage heat control and their 1500W basic system for room (floor) heater control.
