I have a young female red-tailed Boa (She is so BEAUTIFUL ;D) and I have been trying to find a decent enclosure to house her in when she becomes an adult. I know its gonna have to be 10+ feet. How much would that cost me??? Approx?

And length wise(for the cage) I should be looking at about 15 feet right?

Wow your looking for a boa palace. A six foot cage should be suficiant for about any common boa. The best place to get a cage is right here from Jeff. boaphile plastics is where its at. email Jeff and he will tell you what you need to know.

while a cage that size would be a show stopper, it's probably too big. and it would be murder to heat as i'm finding out right now with a cage that 5 wide and 4 high. 6 ft would be more than enough. as soon as i figure out how to post pics, i'll post my new enclosure :-/

WOW! 15 feet long!!! ::) That's bigger than alot of peoples herp rooms LOL. I think the above suggestions are more realistic.

some states, like florida have regulations on exotics on their cage size, like there the rear wall must be at least 75% of the animals entire length. -sTEVE

Spook,
Where did you find that information was it a gov. website or something. Just thought I'd ask and try and find any regulations here in my state.

I belive all you are going to need at most is 2-421 cages with expandable ends. This will give you 8 foot long cage, which will be perfect. Just ask Jeff and see what he thinks.
