I was wondering what the life expectancy of these cages are and how durable the material is? I know that the neodesha cages started to wilt and loose color due to heat after an extended time and was wondering if the material in the Boaphile cages are designed in a way to prevent the warping/discoloration from heat?

I have not had mine long.
But I will tell you this.
I four "other" cages on top of my boaphile.
The other cages are showing signs of bending a bit under all the weight.
But the boaphile shows no such signs. (and I am not saying that because this is his site. I am saying that because this truly impresses me.)

I will do a full report in the future.
Right now we are still in the testing phases.
And so far this thing is FREAKIN passing with high marks.
I have a four foot black boaphile with heat installed.
When I finally take off in my hobby and finally move to my home state....I think I gotta get me an army of these things.

I agree. I have 14 Boaphiles from 122s to 422s and have absolutely no complaints and lots of praise for them. They are hands down the best cages I have ever owned!

I know most people are reluctant to take the producer's word for it but jeff has been using these cages for quit a while.. I don't know the exact times but five years ago when I first herd of him he had that video out and in that all you see are these cages...
plus mine has had a glass aqairum on it since day one... that thing takes two people to move into place with nothing in it...
Eric aka....Red
Also I don't know if you have seen a pic. of jeff but I have seen one that he is standing on top of one....
Also if you are willing to look there is a post that a guy asked this "?" and they worked out how much a 8 cage stack would weight...
