I was wondering if a 422D cage would be sufficient enough for a Hogg Island Boa to live in for his whole life. Should I get a 5 foot cage instead?

I believe the 422D is just fine. I was considering a male Hogg not long ago and everyone I asked said that cage size would be great.

A 422 will be more then sufficient for even a large hog island. My male (who is in the 4 1/2' range) is in a 3x2x1 and he has more then enough room.

i have an adult male hog (about 6 foot) in a 421, and he has more than enough space! (especially considering he spends most of his time going from hide to hide!)
so a 421 or 422 would be an excellent choice!
