Babies...

This is a litter with at least some Pastels. The mother is a Tudehope Colombian that had slugs for me two years ago. The slugs in this litter are old ones from two years ago. There are about 20 babies in addition to seven or eight slugs. I love the little faint stripe you can plainly see on the sides of some of these little babies. Aren't they cute!?!?

ok, i have a newbie question. how did the slugs stay in the female for 2 years? why didn't she pass them at some point? could they ever become dangerous and toxic? and how do you know they are from 2 years ago? do they differ from recent slugs?

You know, as disgusting as those pictures are to a non-snake-loving person, I just love them. Seeing all those cute little babies squirming around, fresh out of their momma, just makes me happy.

WOW that looks good.
unfortunately, my guyanans will only be ready for breedign next year.
so i will have to wait a while before i walk into my snake room and see that :-(
