Hi all

A while ago I posted a pic of a little imperator female I got from my good friend Maggie. She's a stunner for sure:
http://www.kirosreptiles.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/screamer.jpg

She's even more irridescent and clean in "real life" - pure white belly, no black at ALL before the tail  ;D

She is however real good at changing colour, FAST - by that I mean if she's stressed/cold/annoyed she flushes grey pigment under her skin. My other boas don't do that, or at least not as quickly as she can!

Kinda reminds me of a Hog Island boa, BUT this female is out of a litter of otherwise grey, normal looking Columbians!

Opinions? I thought pastel or something seeing as she's the only one out of a bunch.

Hi Jeff,

LOVE the scrolling marquee text!  ;D 8)

Sorry, that's the only pic I have - my Pit Bulldog puppy Dharma decided to chew up my camera and drop it in a bucket of wallpaper paste  :-/  :'(

If you're looking for what I think you're looking for (i.e. reduced or non-existent lateral blotching) then I can at least tell you this:

She has 12 (twelve) pale tan lateral blotches which melt into the background colour. Although they're distinctive from the background they are obscured by the total pink wash she has from neck to tail (laterally). Her whole sides are bright pink, with only these pale washed out blotches showing through.

The sub-ocular stripe (normally white) is pure orange.

I'm trying hard not to make her sound like some kind of super snake but man... she's the best I've ever seen, I'm in LURVE!  cwm2.gif

Not sure what else might be worth mentioning... hm.. I think I mentioned how irridescent she is? I swear she puts my retic and any BRB to shame - this girl GLOWS purples and greens in the light. Man I need a new camera LOL

Well, hope this helps some. Let me know if you REALLY need me to borrow a camera from someplace  8)

Thanks for taking time to help me with this. Much appreciated.
Cheers from England,

Lee
