This is my favorite Peruvian Red Tail Boa

Like her?

She is extreamely thick tight now. The male has been all over her and I am hoping she will ovulate any day now... We shall see!

Do you think I should breed her with an Albino??? Just kidding. That won't be happening here! LOL

WOW!!! She is BLACK and BEAUTIFUL!

Do most Peruvians darken that much as adults, or was she always a dark girl? Most of the pics I have seen, have been of neonates to yearlings...nothing like her ever.

I've never seen one like that before! You should consider mating it with one of your white redtails.....im sure the outcome would be amazing....! *just thinking out loud*

Actually jeff .. I think you should breed it to an albino.
If you think for a second how much melanin is on that snake .. if you took that all away you would have a very clean albino... REALLY nice looking one... I know I know it is mean to say about a snake that good looking .. but ponder the genetics for a while shall we ..... :) Now I got your mind going dont i ?
