Well the time has come for us to vote who will get the free Boa from "The Boa ThinkTank". Below you will find each unedited post from the eight individuals who all expressed interest in obtaining the FREE Boa being offered here on the Tank. Please vote for whomever you will. Along with that vote you may attempt to write a persuasive argument in an attempt to swing votes toward the candidate you feel should be given this free Boa. Nothing other than the number or name of the person you would like to see get the free Boa need be posted however. Please only vote one time. If you are one of these eight applicants please do not vote. Please keep follow ups to this post limited to a post that includes your one vote. Everyone votes no matter how young you are please vote.
Thanks!
Jeff Ronne

Hello,
I love snakes, but mainly boas. I have quite a collection of boas, which include 3 red tails, 1 dumeril's, and a rainbow boa. I have more than enough vivariums and tanks in the "snake room" and am prepared to own another snake. A four-foot snake, or any size, would be a great snake for me to have. If I were givin the snake I would place him in a large vivarium that could make a great home for even a 10 foot snake. It has every thing a snake would want including a large heating pad, a nice basking spot, and access to a cool area. He would be fed very often and almost more than enough. I would hold him several days a week and pay much attention to him. If he happens to get sick, he would be rushed to a vet. I am 28 years old and majored in zoology and minored in herpetology. It would be a privilege to own a part Surinam and part colombian red tailed boa constrictor.
Thank you very much for your time,
Brennan Lane

Sign me up Jeff.
I'll give her a sweet, loving home and lots of rats to munch on. She will remain a virgin for the rest of her life.
I think she will like the weather here in Georgetown, Tx.

I feel that this snake needs to live here with me in Louisville for the following reasons:
She will love her new home: a 4X2X18" Melamine enclosure with a shelf and all the works.
She will be well loved and handled often.
As a break from my Shakesperian naming trend in my house, I think I shall name her Sarah since she wont be having any kids... Or maybe Mary since any children she does have will have to involve devine intervention.
She will be used as an outreach pet to take to the occasional classroom to teach kids the joys of reptiles.
Because Morticia will love her nearly as much as I will.
Because I am perfectly capable of taking care of boas.
Because I asked nicely.
-Morti.
[Edited to say] PS. I am 24 and therefore not a minor.

Hey there Jeff.
i think that South Africa deserves to have a Boa from Jeff Ronne here.
She will be looked after by Me personally ,
and i already have a very fast growing reputation for having the cleanest snakes here.....and we r still in the beginning stages of a reptile market here in SA.
People say that i treat my snakes like babies.....and thats what they r to me....MY BABIES.
i promise that she will never be bred.
As a Good and Faithful Catholic boy, i will even name it Teresa....afetr Mother Teresa...cause she'll be a virgin FOREVER. (hows that staement for a little boa thinktank humour).
SO this is my application to be the Proud owner of a GORGEOUS BOA from JEFF RONNE.
i hope that it is enough to win her, so that this new 6Ft X 2Ft X 3Ft (2mX800X1m) tank that i have just bought, can be put to great use.
thank u for ur time.
Regards.
All the way from South Africa.

hey jeff!
will here, aka cb76.
i would love to take in your female boa and add her to my collection. she will be cared for very well here with me and my family. she will be housed in enclosures equivalent to 75 gallon aquarium on a red cyprus/ aspen substrate- plenty of room for her to move around in and burrow. her enclosure will have a basking shelf and a branch for her to "chill"!
she will be handled with care. she will also enjoy beautiful days out side getting plenty of sun and fresh air- when its the appropriate weather.
i will not power feed her, but she will be fed a generous diet of rat, and maybe in the future, some rabbit!
you can be rest assured that
(from my posts on YOUR forum) i will not breed her, i dont believe in crossing any locale.
but that doesnt mean that this lil' gal doesnt deserve to be loved and cared for properly!
i will do every thing and all in my power to do that.
i also promise, if in the unlikely chance i have to get rid of my collection- she will be sent directly to you, postage paid by me!
please keep me in mind- i have the experience, knowlege, time, effort, money, and love to work with these and many more animals
later!
will

Hey Jeff,
I'd love to get this boa because all my boas are breeders, or future breeders, and I don't handle them much. I'd love a boa that I can get out and 'play' with and enjoy. I've built a cabinet of 3 4'x2'x1' enclosures, and she will call one of the enclosures home.
As I stated above, I will never breed this boa. Between breeding, feeding, and cycling, I don't get to handle my boas near as much as I would like. I will post pictures of her to the boa forum periodically so everyone can monitor her progress as she grows into a beautiful girl.
Thanks for your consideration,
Dustin
Thanks!
