I thought all boas were like this, but since i've taken in a rescue I notice that she doesn't do this. When oscar is cold, or humidity is low she turns a very dark grey, as seen in this pic:

but when she's nice and tostey she is a very light grey, you can really notice on the pink on her head. I know hoggs can change color on a whime, but anyone else have a boa that seems to do this? -sTEVE

;D yes. Mine does the same. When hes on the cooler side of the tank or in his hide he seems to be a reddish dark brown..and when hes chilling in the toasty spot he turns tan with a reddish tint. Its kinda cool actually. He also changes color in the tub. Check ou these pics.

my suri girl does that as well, if she is cooler she darkens quite considerably but when she is warm man she lightens right up.
