...and introduce myself and my Boa "Ben". Ben is 12 years old, 8.5 feet and 36ish pounds. This is an excellent forum and I hope to contribute what I can and learn a little also. I have owned a few different varieties of snakes but Ben and I have been in it for the long haul.

Thanks everyone for the welcome and the compliments on Ben. The picture is a bit dark and doesnt do his color justice. He has been a very tolerant and gentle giant for the last 9 years that I have had him. Anybody care to take a stab at what kind he is? I have never known 100% but always figured him to be BCC.

At that size and coloration, definitely a BCI.  But a HUGE one at that!
