Will i get monster tails?

You can certainly get some Hypos with some monster tails but "Monster Tails" refers to a specific bloodline. This is the Boa I named "The Monster Tail" taken this Spring.

Her descendants are the "Monster Tails" you may have read about or seen photos of on the web. This is a picture of her that was in the "Boa Constrictor Manual" taken in about 1996:

She is the "Monster Tail" and her descendants are also Monster Tails. The term "Monster Tail" is not used so much as a description as it is name of a specific bloodline.

Thanks for clarifing that Jeff. I knew you were the originator for the monstertail, but I thought it was a boa with a abnormally fat tail. I just thought that cause it seems like all the monster tails ive seen are really girthy at the tail

Thanks jeff,i thought monster tails were all those with big redsaddles on their tail. Didn't know they were your specific line bred animals :-/,my bad! Anyways,maybe i'll breed her to a hypo and see if i get those snakes with big redsaddles on their tail!! Maybe i'll have a chance to call them somthing too!! Hey Denny, It's not possible for me in these moments to get a original Jeff Ronne ''Monster tail'' because of where i live :-/, i think?But, do you think my female boa will pass those big tail saddles to her offspring? If so, i think it would be nice to breed her to a hypo to get hypo babys with a colorful, big saddled tail!!! ;D Whatcha think? Also,i don't think i'll ever be a big time breeder, but if i line breed these hypos,do i get the priviledge(don't know if its well spelled :-/) to call these a name i come up with?

Hey polacan,

The only way to tell if she'll pass the trait to her offspring is to breed her, and yes if you come up with something different...you get to name it!!

I recently purchased my Monstertail Hypo from someone (not Jeff) and whenever I bring a new animal into the collection it gets quarantined for 3-6 months as a safety precaution to make sure it is 100% healthy.
