Heya folks,

The fellas I bought this little girl from had her and 5 siblings marked as 'Tiger Boas' BCI. I don't know for sure if this is a genetic morph boa or just a morph caused by lower then normal temps during the mothers pregancy (That can also cause pattern morphs as birth defects, not genetic traits). At any rate they are a pretty prominate Herp store/supplier to all sortsof places, including Zoos so for now I trust them when they say it is indeed genetic.

Note the almost 'Coral' coloration on her belly, it is quite striking and covers her entire underside! Right now she is still quite small and VERY squirmy, so taking pictures takes some patience. As she gets a lil older I should be able to take some better ones to show off her striping, red/pink (Almost pastel) hues, and unigue patterns (or lack there of). These photos do not do her justice.

Tigers are usually central american. I have seen them around at a few different places, so I am assuming they are genetic. There are also super tigers so another assumption is that it is co-dominant. Very pretty boas a should say. You lucked out.

Very nice looking boa. I think it might have a very good chance of proving out for you. I'd like it to happen anyway. :'(

All that I have saw were a result of normal  C.A. breedings. I talked with a fella last year who was the first to have them thrown but he hadnt bred back a tiger to a tiger . I dont think he had much confidence it was genetic or he would have (thats not to say its not ) But it seems to happen pretty regular with Central Americans .Do a search for tiger boas and see if anyone has proven it genetic . Perhaps they have .It would be nice if it was genetic . One more morph to play mad scientist with.
